An Ethiopian Airlines flight crashed soon after take-off from Beirut, Lebanon. Flight 409 was leaving Beirut en route to Addis Ababa.
Recovery efforts are in progress, and so far no survivors have been found. 8 crew and 82 passengers were on board.

A new 3 day sale was just announced by Southwest Airlines (and likely will be matched by its competitors).
Airfares start at $49 one way. The travel dates are a little unusual as theyツ run from April 7 to May 25.

The earth-shattering earthquake in Haiti has displaced millions and led to a tremendous loss of life for this poor Caribbean nation.
